Dr. Alami received her doctorate in Optometry from The State University of New York College of Optometry in 2005 and completed her residency in 2006.  


She joined the practice in 2015 and continues to expand the examination methods offered through The Center for Visual Management. Her expertise in binocular vision disorders provides her the ability to examine patients with reading and learning differences, sensory integration and processing delays, autism, neurodevelopmental disorders and traumatic brain injuries. 

Professional Career












Dr Alami enjoys attending conferences and delving further into the visual sciences. She was awarded the Billie M. Lyons Memorial Award for distinguished service to the community and has traveled to the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Peru, India, Lebanon and Virginia to provide eye care service for underprivileged populations.
